The Announcements module may be used for all forms of news, promotional or other announcements. Announcements include a title, description and may include an internal or external link. If a link is selected, then the title is linked and "More..." link is appended to the end of the description. By default, Announcements are listed alphabetically by title. This sort order may be overridden by the administrator. Announcements may be set to automatically expire. When an announcement expires, WebWriter CMS automatically removes the announcement from the page.
Below are examples of two different forms of linked announcements and one non-linked announcement.

Announcements - Provide your portal visitors with fresh content with the use of announcements. Announcements contain a title, description and expiration date and a field to add a "read more..." link. Multiple announcements may be listed within each pagelet sorted by expiry date.
